Byron Rogers, former instructor at Angelo State University and founder
of Cutler's Cove Knife Emporium™ offer on-line, secure web ordering of
vintage knives.
San Angelo, Texas - - - April 13, 2000 - - -
Byron Rogers created a web store for vintage knife enthusiasts. The web
store is new to the web but he has been in the knife business since 1991.
Cutler's Cove Knife Emporium specializes in vintage folding and fixed blade knives, and
has over 1000 different knives in stock by companies like: Al Mar,
Browning, Buck, Case, Gerber, KaBar, Keen Kutter, Kershaw, Marbles,
Parker, and many others.
The web store has new, used, vintage, and antique knives, and the stock
changes weekly. The majority of the knives that they have are vintage or
collectable. Rogers says: "We will always be glad to help you start a
collection, and learn more about knives. From Cutler’s Cove you can
order any knife book in print at a discount and have it delivered to your
door! Our Web site contains free knife information and links." You’ll
find over 65 links to useful Web resources about knives including:
- Knife Care and More --- Knife maintenance and general knife information
- Knife Collecting --- Collecting information and list of recommended reading in books and
magazines.
- Knife Information --- List of directories, news groups, knife shows,
and more.
- Knife Magazines --- List of knife magazines with complete contact
information, and web site links.
- Knife Manufacturers --- List of knife manufacturers with complete contact
information, and web site links.
- Knife Organizations --- List of knife organizations with complete contact
information, and web site links.
Cutler’s Cove™ specializes in vintage knives no longer made, but we
have a thing for knives in general. In recent years, we made trips to the
Knifemakers Guild Show (Orlando, Florida), Blade Show (Atlanta, Georgia),
and two SHOT Shows (Dallas, Texas). Our interest in knives has taken us as
far as Seki, Japan, the cutlery capital of Japan, to watch their Living
Treasure in a sword making demonstration. Rogers said: "Seki was
incredible and even smelled like steel in the air." We are always
trying to learn more about knives.
This new all-in-one shopping and educational resource has everything
you'll want and need for knife collecting: affordable products, reliable
advice and quality service. Join our mailing list on-line, and we will be
happy to notify you of Special Offers, Rebates, Discounts, and New
Products.
