Camillus Marine Combat Knife features a 7" high-carbon blade (12" overall length) #5684. The blade, butt, guard, and blood groove have all been coated with black phosphate, while the grip is made of black stacked leather washers. Comes with a black leather sheath. It is near mint with rubbed places on the blade but it has not been sharpened. Made in USA of carbon steel. Camillus is no longer in business as of February 28, 2007. Only one to sell. As you may know during WWII Camillus and other knife manufactures made this pattern of knife in the hundreds of thousands. The pattern got the nick name of KaBar because most GI's could pronounce the name KaBar easier than Camillus. But according to production records from the time Camillus made many more of this pattern than the other manufactures including KaBar.
