Buck Hunter's axe model 106 with burgundy Micarta handles and original Buck sheath. This one is in near mint condition and has not been sharpened or used. It is marked BUCK USA. It is 10-3/4" overall. The outside demission of the axe head at the cutting end is about 4" X 2-1/2" and it is 3/16" thick. The first Buck axes had black Micarta handles and a few had burgundy Micarta handles. They have not made the Micarta handled hatchets in many years. The Micarta handles were replaced later with wood handles before Buck discontinued the model all together. The burgundy Micarta handled Hunter's axe model 106 are very hard to come by. Get this one before it is gone! This is one well made
axe/hatchet with a great sheath!
