Kershaw 1055 Folding Field III with original
Kershaw
leather sheath in the box. Mint with bass bolsters needing to be polished. The
Kershaw
leather sheath is mint. They came out in 1986 and were only
sold for a couple of years. Features 3" AUS8A
stainless steel clip blade, finger grooved phenolic handle. 4" closed
with brass bolsters and lock back. A heavy duty locking folding knife
that works very much like a fixed blade.
They were produced to fill the large
demand for a top quality heavy duty folding hunter that isn't too bulky and
yet has the feel of a large hunting knife. It is hard to find them in this
mint condition because they were discontinued around 1989.
Smaller version of the
Kershaw 1050 Folding Field but with a clip blade in place of the drop point.
