Most of the manufactures listed above stopped production in the last 30 years. If you know of a knife company that is out of business that is not on this list please let us know. There are many older manufacturers that are not listed above because they went out of business more than 30 years ago.

The article is poorly researched, highly biased and inflammatory anti-knife. Read Pocketknives are Tools Used by Millions which shows how undocumented numbers and many selective quotations taken out of context where used in the Wall Street Journal article.
