The vintage 20 gauge shells are transparent green in color. Wanda Cartridge Company was in Manvel, Texas, a suburb of Houston from 1965 to 1972. The production green shells started in 1968 and ended in 1971. Their shells were one of the first see through plastic shot shells made. This is a full box and 25 shells are included.

39 years old or more full box of shells!

The high standard of quality assures the shooter of dependable performance under all conditions. All components, from the ultra modern all plastic hull to the extra hard shot, are carefully selected and manufactured to the most rigid specifications. Space age all plastic shell with built in added power. High performance aerodynamically balanced top wad. Completely weatherproof. Non-corrosive priming.
Manufactured in the U.S.A. 25 - 20 Gauge - 2-3/8 inch

If you ever wanted to know how a shotshell is put together and how it works just look at one of the Wanda's. You can see the powder and shot inside through the almost clear walls of the Lexan** plastic shell. If you are a shotshell collector you need a least one of the Wanda see through shells to add to your collection. The plastic overshot wad was designed to plane out of the shot line shortly after leaving the barrel. They were really high tech for their day.

They made shells in different transparent colors including red, yellow, green and maybe blue. We have available for sale some red 12 gauge, green 20 gauge and yellow 20 gauge. I believe they only made 12GA, 20GA and where planning on producing 16GA shells before they closed. I also believe they only made red, green, yellow shells and blue for use internally for testing.

These are old shells and probably should not be fired in your shotgun. All ammunition is for collecting/decorative purposes only and we in no way guarantee or imply them to be functional in anyway other than collecting or decorative purposes.

No longer in Production!
